Thinking Together
Psychodynamic and mentalization-based therapy for adults seeking a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that shape their experience.
Making Sense of Yourself and Others
Many of the difficulties that bring people to therapy are not simply isolated symptoms, but recurring patterns that emerge in relationships, emotional life, and one's sense of self.
My approach is psychodynamic, meaning that we work together to understand these patterns and how they continue to shape present-day experience.
I draw from evidence-based psychodynamic treatments, including Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT) and Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP), which emphasize developing a richer understanding of oneself and others as a foundation for meaningful change.
While I have specialized training in the treatment of personality disorders, I work broadly with adults facing longstanding emotional and interpersonal difficulties, including those who feel stuck in familiar patterns or have not found previous therapy as helpful as they had hoped.
Some of the Concerns I Frequently Help With
Recurring relationship difficulties
Feeling stuck despite previous therapy
The effects of trauma or difficult life experiences
Questions about identity, self-worth, or meaning
A desire for greater self-understanding
